The Art Departmen

October 24, 2010 was a proud moment for the Manor Art Department. Conception Olivo and Jose Moreno made “phenomenal” pieces of the Texas State Capital. State Representative Mark Strama was very pleased with the art of both talented artists. A reception was held in the capital for all artists who contributed to Mr. Strama’s office. The Manor Art Department has been invited for three years and has been accepted each of those times. Mr. Strama’s excitement over Conceptions art was surprising before meeting him saying, “Who’s is this! ...this is absolutely fantastic!”
Both Conception’s and José’s art will be held in the capital for one year in Mr.Strama’s office. This is a great accomplishment for Conception and Jose and the rest of the Manor Art Department.
